Technical Overview

Pure Harvest runs on an Oracle database. The database runs on a central server and is accessed using a small Java application, called a "Helper Application", that runs in a web browser.

After information is released it is published to the client and managed using a different database running on a separate machine. This protects the main database from direct access by customers over the internet.

Backups Your data stored in Pure Harvest is backed up every night, encrypted, and moved to another machine in our network. We keep ten days of backups at all times.

Monitoring The Pure Harvest programs are monitered 24 hours a day by programs that look for failures and unusual activity on the database and in the servers.

Data Center Access Control

Access to the data center is restricted by Security Card, and a Hand Scanning entrance system. In addition, anyone entering the center needs to provide picture ID to real person present at the center 24/7.

Our hosted servers are attached directly to the internet backbone in a highly secure environment. Three token authentication protects our customers; something you have (proximity cards); something you are (biometric palm readers); something you know (pin number).

Fire Suppression

Fire suppression is provided by a water-free fire system that utilizes clean chemical agents to neutralize any threat without equipment damage.

Computer Cages

Pure Harvest servers are locked into cages like these accessible only by our employees.
